When the water is rough

The disciples are frightened, and they say so. Their question is not a polished prayer. It comes out of the middle of the storm. This story invites us to bring our fear to Jesus, rather than waiting until we feel brave enough to approach him.

Name one fear in your notebook. Beside it, write one person you could talk to and one next step you can take.

Jesus, meet me in my fear. Give me enough courage for the next step.
